Rules for Radio and TV
The SBC supervises the compliance of the broadcasters with the provisions in the Radio and Television Act as well as the terms of the licences the Government has granted. The general basis for all rules is that ample freedom of expression and freedom of information shall prevail in radio and TV.
The most comprehensive regulations apply to the public service broadcasters SVT, SR and UR.
